Wharfedale Diamond A1 Active Speakers in White

The Wharfedale Diamond A1 Active Speakers, these use a separate control hub to handle power and sources. With these wireless powered speakers these don’t require a cable for passive sibling.

The H1 Wireless Hub

The wireless hub transmits left and right channel signals to the respective speaker. They can be consequently be placed anywhere in a room, each speaker in the A1 pair is powered by its own 50W amplifier resulting in consistent and fully optimised stereo sound.

It supports both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequency bands, the H1 hub can switch to provide and maintain a stable speaker connection, these speakers must be kept within the 20m radius of the hub and within a nearby power socket that connects to the mains.

Connectivity

With the digital optical and coaxial inputs from the selection, these RCA phono inputs for analogue sources. These speakers use Bluetooth aptX, the speakers boast features ranging from bass adjustment and mono mode, which allows the speakers to be placed in different rooms for a simple multi-room setup.

Bass/Mid Drivers

It uses a 13 cm woven Kevlar cone that is coupled with a 25mm fabric dome tweeter that is derived from the Diamond 200 series that is known for its clear high frequencies. The Diamond Active speaker gives optimised crossover networks that allow it to work and offer an immersive bold performance which is equally as impressive.

Leatherette Finish

With the design having similarities that are carried across from previous designs such as the Diamond 200 Series. These silver-coloured drivers surround that, are implemented and bring a new rounded cabinet edge. The Wharfedale A1 and A2, bring gloss black and gloss white front baffles.
